Three scenes, printable up to 39in wide x 24in deep (“golden ratio”), that – for me – sum up the essence and incredible loveliness of Zimbabwe’s Middle Zambezi as embodied by Matusadona, Lake Kariba, and Mana Pools. Signature is optional!

Really sums up the Matusadona for me – the Kanjedza river, drowned trees, the foreshore, and the Zambezi Valley woodland, all against the beautiful backdrop of the escarpment hills and a delicate eggshell sky.

Forecast to be gone shortly after the lake filled, Kariba’s drowned trees have survived to create important habitats for species such as cormorants, herons and fish eagle.

A river’s a river, but those Mana woodlands are something else altogether – truly special!

The three together – Matusadona, Kariba and Mana Pools – would also make a beautiful trio for the larger office; summing up – as they do – the overall operating area of many travel companies.
