I’ve been taking photographs of these Middle Zambezi Valley areas for over 40 years now, and have amassed a huge collection of slides and, later, digital originals.
The two main purposes of this site are, firstly, to sell quality prints of suitable scenes; and secondly, to reinforce the efforts of agencies such as the Zambezi Society (of which I was the founder-chairman) to conserve these superb wildernesses for future generations.
The prints can make beautiful and evocative wall art for homes and offices, and unique presents for friends here and abroad. Here’s how they can look (L to R) on stretched canvas 30in. wide; custom sized on matt paper and framed; and four 12 x 8in photoblocks, and attractively arranged as a quartet.
I am currently creating a much larger “thumbnail collection”, for display on this site. It’s a long job and won’t happen overnight; but if you have some specific needs, just let me know and I’ll send you a selection. I’ll then provide a quotation according to your choices and requirements.
Part of this process will be to create sections including, for instance, comparable “then and now” photographs reflecting, for instance, changes in vegetation and other features that have happened since I took the first photographs in the late 1970’s and early 80’s.
